Booking and Payment

Booking

• A booking is secure only when accompanied by payment, this applied to all bookings whether made by email, telephone or in person:

Methods of payment

• A teacher or helper will always be available at the Studio to receive payment before classes begin.
• Currently you can pay either by cheque or cash.

Courses

• Some classes are offered as ‘courses’ paid for in advance.
• With the exception of Foundation courses it is possible to book and pay for these classes one at a time at a slightly higher rate.

Concessions

• Holders of JSA, students in higher education and people in receipt of State Pension and/or Income Support may be able to attend classes for £2 less than the rates shown. Please enquire.

Block bookings (for Friends of the Studio):

• Blocks run from the beginning to the end of a ‘term’ that will usually (but not always) be ten weeks long.
• Terms may be separated by ‘holiday’ periods when slightly different timetables apply and payment is per class.
• Payment covers classes within a single block.
• Friends wishing to block book part way through term pay only for the number of classes remaining.
• Friends can make up missed classes by attending other classes at the Studio held within the same term, space permitting.
• Friends who wish to block book more than one regular class per week during the term pay £7 per class for the second and any further blocks.
